This parking job always impresses everyone

When a person gets good in a skill … like being able to competently handle a large, expensive, powerful and potentially dangerous machine like one of these … people tend to get impressed when they see these skills in action.

This truck driver is good at his job, or definitely one part of it. Parking. How many people have a tough time parallel parking even a 2-door hatchback on occasion? Well, try backing one of these into an opening just wide enough to receive it, and on a heavy turn angle.

1941 Ford Pickup Truck

You never know what you might pick up from a cartoon or animated film. As a kid, I watched things like Looney Tunes, Muppet Babies, and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, as well as Disney films like 101 Dalmatians and The Aristocats. As an adult, I later realized that a lot of my information about classical music came from Bugs Bunny cartoons, the way I treated people came from listening to Mr. Rogers, and the first Ford antique I saw was in The Aristocats. Though I can’t be sure that it was a Model A, I believe that particular film was responsible for my love of older automobiles. Beautiful scenic drives through the countryside, excitement and adventure were all part of the package.

This metallic orange beaut went up for sale recently (just under 70k) on Hemmings (link below) a while ago. Check out the lines of this thing.
