Has anyone seen this coupe by auto makers Scion yet? It was inspired by the Scion xB and comes with the trend for younger Tokyo-ites to adopt vintage American design style. So although this might surprise you, this Hako Coupe is actually influenced by classic American coupes!
People have noted that the Scion Hako Coupe has quite a “boxy” square shape, including the windows, that wrap all the way around the back – less blind spots for sure, but who would want to replace that glass?
Anyway, they haven’t decided to mass-produce this one yet. What do you think? It’s definitely unique and an eye-catcher, so would you drive it if it came on the market? A lot of people have called it one of the “ugliest” cars ever made, but actually there are a lot of people who like to drive vehicles that are considered by many to be “ugly.” And a lot of things that were once considered ugly in style in a later phase of history were looked at again as very attractive or otherwise appealing.
