This camper has an exterior shell that acts as a semi-enclosed space when the real sleeper part of the RV unit rotates 90 degrees out. The extra space makes an angle patio (a covered patio at that!) for the travel trailer travellers who use these seriously futuristic mobiles.
It’s the Romotow from W2 design, and when you’re towing it behind your car or truck, it looks a lot like other trailers, although you might notice the curved lines and flat sides look like they serve a purpose. RVers in the campground or campsite will be surprised when your travel trailer starts whirring and expands like it does.
This travel trailer was just a concept back in 2012, but now the W2 team has actually begun making them, and hope to complete one in a matter of months. Click the photo to enlarge it to get an idea of where they’re going with this RV.
Specifications: 30 feet long and 8.5 feet wide, with an interior living space of 290 square feet (tiny house size).
