RV luxury motorhomes beware, when this unit comes along its going to turn some heads. This huge luxury RV is made by a company called Luxury Foretravel Motor Coach, and I’ve seem some of their other units – classy! – but this one is either a one-off or it’s actually a custom RV by someone else. Maybe the internet will source that information when its shared. Usually, Foretravel coaches are big diesel Provost style RVs, but this one instead is based off of a Kenworth T2000 – a powerful tractor for pulling any motorhome from the front (a lot if not all Prevost diesels push from the rear).
If this is in fact a Foretravel RV, they sell these motorhomes at a range of prices (new and resold through others). I’ve seen them in the low hundreds of thousands, and I’ve seen them at over a million, which is around the luxury house price range. But I imagine those who have one of these enjoy them. And even the priciest luxury motorhomes they make, at like 1.2 mil, can be seen for around $800,000.
Is a warranty necessary for one of these units? When you get one made new or custom for you, they often include a motorhome warranty, which could be worth a couple hundred thousand in some cases. For example, this company does a 2 year or 24,000 mile limited warranty on new RVs.
Of course, you could also do what they do yourself, if you’ve got the know-how and the tools — or just the guts. Using a used Kenworth T2000 like in this case, or any other big tractor (I’ve seen lots of Peterbilts too with Cowboy Coaches and Powerhouse Coaches, which we feature on this site sometimes). Then just build up from there. There are a lot of companies, inluding the two I just mentioned, that do these custom builds, with options like 1, 2, or 3 slide outs, sleeper boxes, custom luxury style motorhome frames, and everything else.
