This post will be updated regularly with more big sleepers and the companies that are making them nowadays. To see the thread on the forum where people are also posting pictures of sleepers: “Big Sleepers.” If there’s a company you think we should include here, just let us know in the comments section.
To see more of the work of any of the companies listed here, find them on our Trucking and RVing Directory (click here).
ARI Legacy Sleepers: This company is maybe the most active in converting big tractors into even bigger semi sleepers. They recently came out with the biggest factory-made sleepers ever, which has a 260″ bunk on a 410 wheelbase.
They were founded in 2001 and are based out of Indiana, and they are busy (popular) enough that we see new ARI jobs regularly on our news feeds.
Custom Studio Sleepers: This company is a bit smaller, but they’ve caught our attention several times for the look of their studio sleeper jobs. Some of them are big and have a distinctive look to them.
Custom Studio Sleepers operates from Brooten, Minnesota.
Davies Motor Company: This company is also smaller than ARI, and they do motorhome / toterhome conversions, but also sleeper conversions, and they come out with some pretty stylish custom jobs, both in the more classic and more modern styles of custom sleeper jobs.
They’re out of Springville, Utah
Relatedly, if you want to go bigger than a sleeper or drome box, there’s the option of a motorhome / toterhome conversion. For those companies, click here.
